Ever wonder how bugs are getting into your home? We have comprised a list of all the places in your home bugs may be hiding to help you clean, get organized, and get rid of bugs!

Basements. Basements often hold in humidity and are closer to the foundation of your home. Try using a humidifier to eliminate bugs breeding in the denser air.

Attics. Although attics experience an array of temperature extremes, they still provide shelter for pests. Close off any wall openings to ensure insects aren’t traveling into your home.

Baseboards. Bugs often travel around your home in the crevices of your baseboards. Use one of your vacuum accessories to eliminate bugs hiding in these spaces.

Clutter. Bugs like to hide and breed where it’s dark. Get rid of unnecessary clutter on the floor like boxes, papers, or clothes to eliminate breeding grounds.

Closets. Some pests will hide in the depths of your closet, feeding on unworn clothing. Use the rule wear it or ditch it and dry clean worn clothing to be sure bugs aren’t hiding in your bedroom.

Trash Cans. It may come as no surprise that bugs love to get into your trash. Keep your trash can sealed and take out bags regularly to avoid feeding bugs in your home.
